Heat and Cool Line-Voltage Wall Thermostats
These units regulate both heating and cooling applications.
Line-voltage thermostats are used to regulate the temperatures of connected HVAC systems that require direct electrical power, such as attic fans, fan coil units, and electric baseboard heaters.
Room thermostats, also known as wall thermostats, sense the air temperature in order to regulate and maintain a set temperature for a residential, commercial, or industrial space bu switching the heating or cooling system on or off as the temperature changes. Typically, these controls mount on an interior wall, though some units can plug into a wall outlet.
