Line-Voltage Room / Wall Controls

Room thermostats, also known as wall thermostats, sense the air temperature in order to  regulate and maintain a set temperature for a residential, commercial, or industrial space by switching the heating or cooling system on or off as the temperature changes.  Typically, these controls mount on an interior wall, though some units can plug into a wall outlet.

Line-voltage room thermostats are used to regulate the temperatures of connected HVAC systems that require direct electrical power, such as attic fans, fan coil units, and electric baseboard heaters.
