Description   

   This model IC-8BM Residential Infinite Switch Kit is rated for 2408 and 15 Amp max at 200°F (93°C) and is Non-Push-To-Turn (Non-PTT). The Robertshaw / UNI-LINE Part Number is 5500-208M.

   All residential models come with a universally designed 2" long square break-off shaft with included shaft adapters that allows for the use of your original dial on the replacement switch.  Alternately, you may use the included black dial knob (OFF-LO-2 thru 6-HI) with the switch.

   This control also comes with universal mounting adapters (including Palnut with bushing, 4 small screws, and bracket), as well as installation instructions.

IC-8BM Series General Information

The IC-8BM is a voltage sensing (parallel circuit) infinite switch designed to replace the current VSI (INF) switch.

   The IC-8BM Infinite Switch is a rotary switch which controls the power dissipated by a heating element. It is used on electric ranges, hot plates, warming drawers and zones, barbecue grills, space heaters, quartz heaters and many applications which call for proportionate control of a resistive load.

Note: The Commercial versions of these switches differ only in that they have a heavy-duty dial shaft that is used with its included dial (requiring no dial shaft adapters) as well as including two wire extensions (with quick-connect terminals).
